Posted On: 06/21/2024 I’ve never left a negative review in my life, but the responsible thing to do is share my experience in hopes that someone else doesn’t have the disappointing experience I’ve had with Danoff Dental.

Here’s the deal: I went in for two fillings on both sides without any pain and left with severe pain on my left side. During the appointment, I noticed the dentist was impatiently rushing and displayed an unnecessary bad attitude, but I figured maybe she was just really busy (I got the sense that they run their office like a conveyer belt, patients were in and out, but I dismissed it). The dental hygienist assisting her was extremely rough, quite literally shoving my tongue to the back of my throat and pressing unusually hard with dental tools. Not to mention the fact that this was the FASTEST I’ve ever had fillings done before, which I found a bit odd. Whatever.

After the fillings, I assumed the pain I had was normal and would eventually subside. It didn’t. A week later, the pain was excruciating, so I called the office. They said I just needed a bite adjustment, which I promptly scheduled with the other dentist. Despite the adjustment, the pain persisted and worsened.

It was excruciating at this point, so I went to an Urgent Care, where a doctor diagnosed me with “some kind of infection” (the whole left side of my face had swelled up) and he prescribed me antibiotics. When I returned to the dental office a week later, I was treated as an annoyance and told they couldn’t address my issue because they were “with another patient”. That obviously rubbed me the wrong way. Why schedule me to come in at that time then? Conveyer belt lol.

The dentist simply told me to continue taking my antibiotics and sent me off. Okay… I left feeling so confused and agitated by the lack of professionalism, so I sought a second opinion at another dental office, where my issue was discovered within the first 10 minutes of being there.

This new dentist told me that Novocaine was injected directly into my torus mandibularis, causing a hematoma and resulting in severe pain and inflammation. The new dentist called it “NEGLIGENCE”, stating that they should have been more cautious in that area or AT LEAST warned me about potential pain. Added to the fact that this new dentist criticized the “sloppy job” they did on my fillings, which I now have to get corrected.

To say that I am dissatisfied with the lack of care I received from Danoff Dental would be an understatement. I wouldn’t recommend this dental office to anyone, especially if you’re aware you have toruses — don’t expect Danoff Dental to know how to properly treat you. I was called in promptly and Adina, the hygienist was very thorough and gave me tips for brushing. She and Dr. Geft made me feel very comfortable as if I've been a patient for a long time. Dr.

Dr Geft examined my mouth. She then asked her dad Dr Danoff to consult about my options. My experience was positive. When done, they gave my wife a rose.

She is also very general so kids love to come back for their apportionments which is really important cuz dentist can be a very scary thing for kids. Dr. Geft made my kids always happy to go to a dentist office! The front desk here are very nice and professional! A family oriented place with lovely doctors and staffs! Highly recommended!
